Painting and Drawing Collection

This year has been tumultuous for me. Been honing my painting and drawing skills. The works have been exploding and taking up more space in my tiny apartment. I'm enjoying exploring new techniques and get lost in the brush strokes or charcoal techniques.

Sculpey Foundation

Worked on some foundation for the sculpey today. Hoping the weight holds up. Debating about sculpting the wings separately and attaching later.

Picture Project for Mom and Dad

I started building these scene a few weeks ago. It's a little project for my parents. It's their 40th Anniversary at the end of June. So I'm making a little video for them. I like some parts of it, the shadows are starting to look nice, but dreadfully long render times. So I'll have to work that out. I was thinking about doing a still shot, and then animating pictures of my parents in post within the big picture frame. We'll see how it goes. I still have a month to fine tune it.

Tinfoil on

Tinfoil added. Starting to look like a bird. I'll probably start adding clay in the next few days.

Old School Sculpting

Picked up some sculpting supplies the other day. Going to attempt to recreate this eagle sculpture I had in my closet. Armature wire is more or less done. Onto some tin foiling to add volume. 

Tinkering Away on my Tank

Built some detailed objects in the back end of the tank I've been working on. Looks great in an AO render. But I'll have to figure out some ways of rendering a little quicker.

Built some more guns

Toying around with some small guns for my tank. Still largely blocked in, but I like the look so far.
